The book you will use the most eill be a players handbook. Each player reads it to level up and if you have a large party that means passing thr book around for a long time. Also spellcasters often need to check the book to see what their spells do while playing which is tedious especially if more than one person needs to do this. The easy solution is to buy a second or third players handbook or encourage players to bring their own. However these books are expensive and it is often not fessible to have more than 1 or 2 books even in a large party. You also could use online sources. There are often databases that tell you spell damage and this information could be printed off or otherwise referenced instead. Also if you are playing an older edition pdfs are often easily found online. People could view these on computers and tablets and this makes things easier for playing a non base class aswell. The DM could also print out or photocopy useful chsrts or tables to help speed up the leveling process aswell. Not having a secondary way to access player info is tedious so I would suggest to duplicste the info in some shape or form to facilitate more stress free gameplay.
