Feathers will Protect You

This shirt is made of magical feathers. That seems to me that would be extremly fragile and not last very long at all. And this would be the least indimidating shirt possible. It could however make you look like a chicken…

Deities & Demigods Advanced Dungeons and Dragons

This book for first edition from the 1970s is a compliation of different gods for a varities of cultures from around the world. Keep in mind this was made in the 1970s and some of the terminology may not be PC by todays standards.

There are several sections with there own sterotypical fonts to mark its own chapter. These sections have a variety of real world gods from various mythologies with stats for DMs to impliment them in the game.

This is done in a simulair to the monsters in the monster manuel and the fiend folio.

(Arthurian)

The art work is very nice, detailed and captures stereotypical styles from the varity of cultures. There a several full page and half page spreads depicting scenes and different creatures engaging the gods and heros.

They also have some made up gods for races and creatures in the game which is a nice touch.

I like this book for its expansive visuals. Again I like the cover style and enjoy having this book that is much older than me.

The All Seeing Chest

A large eye in the chest of this armor. I feel like thats going to be the first thing slashed by annememy rendering it blind. However it is magic so maybebthatbwouldnt haplen but jsut look at it. I also likw the mouth is an eye as well as the hands. Wouldnt that mouth eye see the same things as its normal eyes? A bit werid and a bit creepy its wonderous.

Freaky

This one looks bizzare and extremly frightening. It looks like something out of call of cthulu and is pretty scary.

Haunting Tiger Mask

This is a magic mask that looks just like a figer with its eyes gouged out. It also kind of looks like its lauging with that huge toothy grin. It is odly scary and haunting. It may have been better in this case to show the mask with someone wearing it… but that may have made it sillier.

The Tween

This monster from the 1970s book calls this ghosly monster a tween. I guess the term tween was not used at that time to describe a person older than a child but younger than a teen. It made me laugh. The photo itself isnt tat funny. For this monster its all in the name.

The First Doctor Source Book

Today we are going to stray away from dungeons and dragons to another table top rpg.

We shall be talking about the First Doctor Supplement for the game Doctor Who Adventures in Time and Space. This book is fairly recent (2009) unlike the Frist Doctor who was from the 196os.

This book is all in black and white which I felt was dissapointed with. The shownwas bacl and white granted but there could have been some detailing in color or some recolouring done to jazz up the book.

This book is essentially a campaign setting. The setting being that of the first doctor. It has monsters with stats that relate to the televieion episodes.

The book filled with moduals which are just playing the events from episodes.

In the back of the book it has stats for the characters from the show so thay can be playable in the game.
This book is a splat book for a larger game. The game main books seemingly focus on the soft rebooted seasons (doctors 9-). Thats what makes book useful. It exclusiveky has plot, festures and character that equate to the adventures of the first doctor and his companions. I belive they plan to do morenof these (I know for sure they have done up to the third doctor). I like doctor who and rpgs so I hadnto have this book and have some of the other books which ill feature in later posts.

Wide Open

The mouth on this guy is pretty hillarious. Why is his tounge so pointy and blue. He almost looks shocked because a fish has jumped into his wide gapping mouth.
