The monsters of Call of Cthulu are often mind boggling and horrifying at the same time. Considering that your character meerling glancing at could cause them to go insane. Sanity loss is the main aspect of Call of Cthulu so having this kind of horrifying creatures makes perfect senese.

I have used thisnitem alot as it alows you to breath underwater. However, i had no idea the artist intened itnto be a wee little fish
I like it. Its pretty cute and fits the theme of the item well.

These arethe most bizzare monster type I have ever seen. This is so strange. The eyes are so creety anf the flesh tone is unsettling. They have a sort of steam punk look ot it which is bizzare in dungeons and dragons but it is cool enough. Just soo werid.
This is probably one of the scariest scarecrows I have ever seen.

Very creepy face in what looks like stiched togeher skin. Maybe thisnwas inspired by the texas chain saw massacure. That is very creepy and would most definelty strike fear into the enemy.
Chibi fish man. There are like 4 monsters total in the pathfinder bestiary with bizzare cartoony art style that baffles me everytime.
The original image of the dnd beholder looked quite doofy.
